Quiet, quaint and with tree-lined streets, west downtown - between Heritage Square & Thorpe Park is the most convenient and sought after location in Flagstaff. Easy walking distance from restaurants, bars & downtown amenities, its 10 minutes on foot to north NAU campus, one mile from FMC and just around the corner from the Sunday Farmers Market.
Downstairs is an open plan lounge/dining area/kitchen with lots of light, leading out onto a private patio with a bistro table, chairs and a shade umbrella - a great place to sit and relax in warmer weather. The kitchen is fully equipped with an espresso machine, super handy self-timing electric oven, full electric range, and all the pots and pans you'll need if you like to cook. There's also a microwave, toaster and fridge freezer. Laundry is completely free and available on-site, just a few yards from the unit. Off street parking is available right outside.
Upstairs (these are steep, not suitable if you have mobility issues) is the private bedroom and the bathroom (shared, when I'm there). The room is fully furnished with a futon-style three-quarters sized bed (& memory foam mattress), a study desk, chest of drawers and a built in closet - it's suitable for one person only, no couples thank you. I can supply bedding and towels if you need them - perfect if you're flying in from out of town. The bathroom has a high-flow shower.
This could be ideal place for you, if you're a grad student or visiting researcher, who wants to live close to campus but not in a student complex. I'm a mature professional woman (former ASU professor) and world traveler, who works freelance and is often gone a lot.
Rent - $1100/mo includes ALL utilities and high speed wifi internet. Available from mid to late August for the fall semester and beyond. Minimum 6-month rental period preferred. Sorry NO pets.
