condition: good
make / manufacturer: chevrolet 327
model name / number: 3782870

FOR SALE: 62-65 SBC 327 motor in absolute working order. This is my daily driver. I bought the truck this is currently in almost 4 years ago and it has been great. In the time I have owned it, I have put about 4000 miles on it and it has been 100% reliable, save for a distributor that failed, and has never had overheating issues.

Engine has unknown mileage and was built sometime in the early 2000's, according to the previous owner. It sat for a while before being installed in the truck. I know nothing about its origins or current internal condition, other than it was built for the truck I have. Engine has camel hump (fuelie) heads. Will come complete with HEI GM type distributor/coil, radiator with electric and manual fan, Holley 2 barrel carburetor, flywheel for manual transmission, Tuff Stuff aluminum water pump, and center force clutch with pressure plate.

Engine is being pulled this week (12/11). I have taken a video of a cold start I can send.

Engine ID # is 3782870, and the casting # is F0924HB. Puts it as a Flint build out of a "full size" car- Camaro, Chevelle, Impala, etc., with 2 bolt mains. I am not sure if the heads are original to the motor. Heads are the 1.94" valve variety, pretty sure.

Happy to answer any questions I can. If you are not interested in any of the parts, we can negotiate that. $700 OBO.

My apologies for the sideways pictures. Still can't figure that one out...

Key words: 327, SBC, 327 CI, SBC 327, fuelie heads, camel hump, camaro, engine, chevelle, impala,
