Front Desk Escrow Processor (Sedona)

compensation: $13.00-$18.00 per hour depending on experience

Job Summary:
To work with realtors, lenders, buyer & seller clients, and vendors to acquire, analyze and organize all necessary documents needed to process escrow transactions. Have the ability to balance the workload to accommodate demands of the job, and exceed customer expectations. Receives callers and visitors at the establishment, determines nature of business, and directs callers and visitors to correct destination. Provides general administrative and clerical support.

Job Roles:
Responsible for answering and placing telephone calls, and notifying appropriate parties of arriving calls,
customers or visitors.
Provides entry level administrative support including but not limited to typing, filing, copying and coordinating calendars.
Greets customers, vendors, job applicants and other visitors in a courteous, friendly and timely manner.
Sorts and routes mail, correspondence, packages, and messages for timely delivery to appropriate party.
Directs issues or problems to appropriate party for resolutions.
Coordinates meetings and organizes catering.
Maintains reception area and conference room(s) and keeps these areas tidy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Process and quality check all documents for accuracy.
Prepares Title Company escrow documents in timely and professional manner.
Ensures complete and accurate packages are submitted for approval.
Responds to inquiries from clients to resolve discrepancies.
Calls to verbally confirm all incoming & outgoing wire instructions.
Builds strong partnerships with clients, lenders, realtors, vendors, and the local community.

Role Specific Knowledge:
Ability to read, write and perform simple math.
Computer skills necessary to complete tasks.
Knowledge of phone systems and phone etiquette.
Ability to follow written and verbal directives and work with people of all levels.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Responsible with good initiative.
Have an understanding of escrow standards and basic understanding of title clearance preferred.
Knowledgeable in real estate regulations and guidelines, document preparation, and RESPA rules preferred.
Understanding of pay off per diems & tax prorations, interest preferred.
Understanding of lenders documents and recordings preferred.
Possess the skill set to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills, to professionally communicate with both internal and external customers.
Excellent customer service skills.
Dependable and a team player.

Education and Experience:
Completion of a High School diploma.
Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in clerical administration which includes experience in phone/professional etiquette. Experience in an escrow or loan related field preferred.

Training:
Complete company required training and classes as directed by your manager.

Scope of Job:
Job role has budgetary type of accountabilities or directly impacts a revenue center’s viability or its quality of service via personal contributions.

Autonomy of Job:
Under general supervision: occasional supervision over repetitive tasks. New duties or project-type tasks may receive “Strict” or “Direct” supervision, depending upon the nature of the task(s).

Supervisory Responsibility of Job:
Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.

Work Environment:
Work is primarily light; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
