Wedi Subliner Dry matting has a perm rating of 0.05 perms, as tested using ASTM E96 (Method E, desiccant method at 100°F and 90% RH). This makes it a Class I vapor impermeable material (0.1 perm or less), meaning it's highly resistant to water vapor transmission. This low perm rating is why it's recommended for use in high-moisture environments like steam showers and other wet areas where a strong vapor barrier is crucial.
