Position Summary
The Landscape Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining residential and commercial landscapes to ZebraScapes quality standards. This position performs routine landscape maintenance, irrigation inspections, and property cleanup while operating landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in Northern Arizona conditions.
Responsibilities
Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and blowing.
Maintain turf, trees, shrubs, and ornamental plants.
Inspect and assist with repair of irrigation systems.
Perform seasonal landscape tasks such as aeration, fertilization, and cleanups.
Remove weeds and maintain beds and hardscape areas.
Operate landscaping equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and hand tools.
Load and unload tools, materials, and debris.
Follow company safety standards and proper equipment procedures.
Maintain job site cleanliness and represent ZebraScapes professionally.
Communicate property issues or maintenance needs to crew leaders or supervisors.
Qualifications
Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required.
Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical work throughout the day.
Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, snow, and varying weather conditions common in Northern Arizona.
Valid driver's license preferred.
