Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough patient observations and assessments to identify musculoskeletal issues and underlying causes of pain.
• Perform physical examinations, including range of motion tests, reflex checks, and neurological assessments to inform diagnosis.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing techniques such as trigger point therapy, spinal adjustments, and soft tissue therapies.
• Manage acute pain episodes effectively by applying evidence-based chiropractic interventions tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and care instructions clearly to patients.
• Interpret medical imaging results when necessary to support accurate diagnosis and treatment strategies.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans to optimize outcomes and ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate occupational health services or specialized treatments as needed.
Requirements
• Valid chiropractic license or certification in good standing within the practicing jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques relevant to chiropractic care.
• Proven experience in patient observation, physical examinations, and patient assessment methods.
• Familiarity with naturopathic pain management strategies, including trigger point therapy and acute pain management techniques.
• Ability to develop effective care plans based on thorough evaluations and patient needs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly and compassionately.
• Prior experience in primary care settings or occupational health environments is a plus but not required.
