Two clocks for a total price of $125.00, cash of course.
...Lovely French antique wall clock, graceful Art Deco style carved oak case. Circa early-mid 1900's.
The dial and movement are signed ODO, a noted French maker.
The case measures 27" tall by 12" at its widest. It is solid oak and a nice honey color. The photos makes the case look darker than it looks in person and hides the attractive grain..
Nice dial. Great Art Deco hands.
The clock has an 8-day movement, chiming Westminster chimes on gongs. and striking the hour on another set of gongs. Beautiful sound. The chime and strike can be silenced if so desired, either or both.
. One photo shows how well it ran. It may need it needs servicing. If you do not enjoy fiddling with clocks, this clock is not for you.
Winding key included.
ALSO:
...Nice woodworks Pillar and Splat shelf clock, made by Henry Terry. Runs and strikes. Approx. 33 1/2" tall. Nice carving some damage around door key hole. It had a kitchen clock pendulum on it. I removed this and supplied a longer leader and an appropriate bob but have not installed them. Winder included
They fit in nicely with modern and vintage pieces.
