The house is cooled with an extremely efficient evaporative cooler, and brand new window units in each room for those times of year when there is too much humidity for evaporative cooling to be effective. (Evaporative cooling is a plus for your budget as it reduces the electric bill substantially.)
Our previous tenant said his March electric bill was about $75.00. Gas was $23.00. Water is about $40.00 a month. Of course all utility costs depend on individual usage. Trash service is required and generally costs around $18.00 a month.
Heating is provided with a gas furnace. The hot water heater is also gas.
Internet service is available through Sparklight and Century Link. (There may be other services available as well.)

PETS: We will consider one small to medium size mature dog at our discretion. Dogs must be spayed or neutered. We DO NOT ALLOW puppies. We DO NOT ALLOW cats or kittens of any kind. We DO NOT ALLOW chickens or any other farm animals.
Certain breeds of dogs are NOT acceptable due to our insurance policy. They include rottweilers and dobermans among others.
We ask that our tenants make 3X the rent in order to comfortably be able to afford their bills. We may consider 2.5 X the rent if your other bills are really low.
