This museum quality nickel-iron meteorite from my private collection is for sale. This fantastic looking meteorite, with features that bring to mind the Borg ships of Star Trek � Next Generation fame, weighs over 25 lbs and displays very well in several free-standing positions. A uniquely weathered Nantan Meteorite, the Widmanstatten crystal structure is easily visible to the naked eye. It features regmaglypts, ablation crust, a graphite nodule, and what appears to be impact markings on one side. Legally imported from southeast China in 2000, I personally saw it come from the shipping crate covered with dirt and grass and it has been in my collection since. Very few people have viewed or held this awesome specimen. Interstellar nickel-iron is created in exploding stars and/or the cores of red or blue supergiant stars (Betelgeuse or Antares, for example), so what you have here is literally matter from the heart of a star that probably exploded before our solar system was formed and eventually found it�s way to Earth almost 500 years ago as a meteor fall recorded in China in the year 1516. I have a 1920's Whiting/Davis Dresden mesh purse for sale.
It is in relatively good shape for its age. It has a bent clasp,
but still closes, needs cleaning and the lining will need to be replaced.
The paint looks good on the beautiful pastel flower pattern
and as far as I can tell all the mesh is intact.
It measures 5" from the frame long by 4" from the frame wide.

I have a meteorite in my personal collection that I wish to sell. I have had this specimen for over 9 years. It is an iron-nickel Nantan �internal� from southeast China. It weighs 26 lbs and is a beautiful specimen that displays well, without support, in several different positions. It clearly shows the Widmanstatten structure in the rough, and has a large area of scorched surface (also known as ablation crust or fused crust). It has a small hole and a visible graphite nodule. It is solid and stable, without the crumbling issues that are inherent with Nantan �internal� meteorite specimens. If you are familiar with this variety of meteorite, you know that it is very rare for the 'internals' to feature any scorched surface. For any iron meteorite to have both ablation crust AND visible crystal structure is extremely rare! This is a museum-grade specimen and one of the finest Nantan meteorites in existence. The Center for Meteorite Studies at Arizona State University, home to the world's largest university-based meteorite collection, does not have one of these.

Interstellar nickel-iron is created in exploding stars, so what you have here is literally matter from the heart of a star that probably exploded before our solar system was formed and eventually found it�s way to Earth almost 500 years ago as a meteor fall recorded in China in the year 1516.

The wholesale value of this meteorite to be between $5,000 and $7,000. This estimate of value comes from very reliable sources, meteorite experts with over 20 experience years in the field. I have been collecting comics for about 15 years now and have decided to part with my collection. I have around 6,000 issues ranging from Marvel, DC, Image, Dynamite, etc. If you can think of any major events, I probably have the whole set, including one shots and specials. I would prefer to sell in sets and/or storylines so as to keep everything in order. My issues are in "good" to "mint" and have been only read once and then placed into a comic box and stored. I also have a comprehensive list as well if you would like to browse that is on an excel sheet and is far to big for a CL ad. Rare and beautiful iron meteorite for sale. Birthed from the heart of an exploding star, a drifting meteor for billions of years, this outstanding Nantan �internal� meteorite weighs 26 lbs.

An extremely rare feature is that you can actually see the raw exposed internal crystal structure of an iron meteorite, the Widmanstatten pattern, with the unaided eye! Usually this requires grinding, polishing and treatment with nitric acid to see this, but not in this meteorite. Other features include ablation crust (the burnt outer surface also known as fused crust) with regmaglypts (thumbprint-like depressions on a meteorite caused by the uneven flow of air during passage through the atmosphere and the consequent surface melting) and an embedded nodule of virgin carbon. The main mineral composition of this meteorite is 92% Iron (Fe) and 7% Nickel (Ni). It is classified as a Type IIICD Coarse Octahedrite.

A centerpiece to any collection, a definite conversation starter, this display specimen meteorite looks fantastic and displays very well in several free-standing positions. Extremely stable, there has never been any flaking or crumbling that is associated with the �internals�. Hi! Thanks for checking out my fuzzy felted creations!
I'm Liza, a local Flagstaff artist and I create custom hand-felted wool sculptures of your favorite pet cat, dog, horse, favorite animal, dinosaur, or any other unique wool creation! My critters are created using a technique called needle-felting; a time consuming process of tangling individual sheep fibers into densely tangled wool forms. My creations have no stitching, seams, or stuffing- they are made of only pure dyed sheep wool which is tightly needle felted around a wire armature that makes the animals durable and gently pose-able!

Prices range according to size and detail. A small, four inch long/tall animal would be $55, and a large/tall animal or a custom pet portrait is $75. I also create 2-D wet-felted wall hangings and I'm experienced and available to teach felting workshops at your local Flagstaff school, organization, or upcoming party!
